Helping Broadcasters Serve Their Communities

The California Broadcasters Foundation is a nonprofit corporation composed of radio and television stations in California. The Foundation Board of Directors awards two $500 scholarships to radio interns and two $500 scholarships to television interns each semester.

Who Can Apply: Any enrolled college student working as an intern at any California Broadcasters Foundation or Association member radio or television station. There are no minimum hours per week requirements. Immediate family of current Foundation Board Members are not eligible.

How To Apply: Complete an application and submit the typed original and two copies along with a letter from the station manager recommending the intern for consideration. More than one intern may apply from each station. Application deadline is 5:00 p.m. on June 30th (Fall Semester) and December 31st (Spring Semester).
