Major 2011/2012 LegislationAB 80 – Changes the date of the presidential primary election to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June to consolidate with the statewide primary election. OPPOSE – Signed by the Governor SB 914 - Prohibits the search of information contained in a portable electronic device (cell phone, etc.) by an arresting law enforcement officer without a warrant issued by a judge using established procedures.
